Whether recovering from a colonoscopy, orthopedic surgery, chemotherapy, plastic surgery, Lasik eye surgery, or anything in between, Friends for Life offers non-medical post-op home care for seniors to help patients get the assistance they need for recovery.

Post-Op Monitoring

Comprehensive post-op home care for seniors is critical following a hospital procedure. Once discharged from the hospital, the risk for falls, mismanaged medication, and pain management needs can significantly increase.

The first few days after surgery can be the most challenging since there may still be pain, impact from medications, limited ability to walk far, or a need for extra support.
